Beesy App Reviews

Changes how I work!

I am very impressed with the tight integration with calendar and reminders. This application had changed how I plan, prep and follow through, making me feel organized and on top of things. Great tool!

Too bad there was no try before you buy

I had hope for this app since it can integrate with Outlook and Exchange. Unfortunately, this app tries too hard, and ends up getting in the way. There is way too much structure, too many confusing icons, and too much pollution from help implemented as notes. I wanted a simple way to take my Outlook calendar meetings, use the description and attendees to start taking notes, and generate action items that would feed back into Outlook. The first task only works partially, and the second one requires another in app purchase. This app wants to be the centre of the universe, but its not up to the task.

Version 1.6

Beesy is becoming a "must have" for efficient meeting management! Great Job!

Lots of potential !

A very good app for now, and a lot of potential if some features are added, like synching between ipads and with iphone, as well as email to task. I have been using Evernote and Toodledo for more than a year, and I am moving to Beesy as my sole app to track meetings minutes & follow-ups as well as todos. Needs some time to get around it, but appears very useful. Keep up the good work !

Great tool for someone meeting customers, but ...

Ive been using Beesy for several months and I like its concept very much. The tool is promising but it has some basic things missing. At the beginning I was an enthusiast because the Beesy team was very active discussing requirements and promising fixes and improvements for the "next release". There were some minor releases that did not address those issues . They started taking longer to answer peoples questions from the user forum and I still dont know when the "next release" will come and if this time it will address those minor but important issues. It is a good software but I am disappointed with the time it is taking to get those required improvements done.

Just what I needed!

Hi, this app is exactly what I needed! No more little black book notes, post-it or follow up spreadsheets. I also love the dashboard concept as it helps me keep focus on what is actually important. Thank you ! F. Rousseau

Best meeting and to-do app I have found

Beesy isnt perfect, but it accomplishes what I needed most to keep on top of all my meetings and projects: meeting notes attached to the integrated calendar with automated to-do lists generated and synced to Reminders. Its missing some of the niceties of Notability like changeable fonts, handwriting, highlighting, different papers and colors etc, but is light years more intelligent, organized, and ambitious. The developers are also actively improving the app, with a web-based collaboration and backup system coming soon. If like me you attend too many meetings and want to ensure no action items brought up in meetings fall between the cracks, Beesy will help you get organized.

Difficult interface

It is not intuitive and difficult to figure out. Not many videos that explain how it works properly. I just deleted it, its not worth the money.

Splashy Demo Screens - that’s all it has

This app is useless. I got taken by the splashy demo screens, ical integration and @$5.99 maybe it can keep its promises and claims. Wrong. don’t waste your money

Meh

There are a lot of great features, however one gaping hole for a productivity app. You can not import from reminders. Without this feature Beesy is somewhat inadequate.

Great app - making my life at work much easier

Great application for managing meeting notes and assigning tasks and actions to yourself and others, and for generating Meeting Minutes to share. A few areas that could be improved, but Im sure that will come as the Beesy folks seem to be happy to listen to feedback. My organization finds the cost fairly steep to jump to the collaborative and web accessible features (as compared to the low cost of the app itself) so I have not been able to explore those yet. It would also be great if there were a fully functional desktop version for Mac and PC so that those of us in those worlds didnt also need to take our iPad with us everywhere when we already have our lightweight laptop. Hopefully those will come as this is an excellent application.

Great App and very good "workflow"

Great app! With a little preparation, you can very quickly manage you meetings, todos **and** send meeting minutes without waisted effort! The only things that are missing for 5 stars is (1) toodledo integration for tasks (2) beter "hand written note" function (now its a "drawing" function. Cheers!

Clumsy and poorly implemented

Why do apps like this exist? Beesy attempts to do too many things — none of them are well executed, integrated or ordered. The app uses numerous hints and arrows to direct a user but it’s like a keystone cop directing you to keep going around and around a traffic circle. There is even a “help” system built into the pre-defined set of notes; it’s just another layer of lipstick that cannot hide the undeniable. This app is ugly to view and it’s a fright to try and use. How integrated teams would use this reliably is beyond me. If I was forced to use it I would just go back to a notebook and pen… And, having reviewed this for a full evening, I would never inflict this on my team. There are numerous in-app add-ins — I tried the Reminders full synchronization and I could not get the sync to work. I was drawn to this app by it’s integration of the Livescribe Pen but bringing in notes to this environment will just get them lost in a closed loop. There is virtually no integration with outside apps save for a PDF export function that is an in-app purchase. In this age of app extensions and interoperability between apps, this version of Beesy feels like something from the Windows 95 world; not iOS 8. A simple workflow from Livescribe to Editorial and Omnifocus pretty much solves what Beesy is trying to do and you get all of the other goodness of those 3 apps.

Effective yet simple tool

Beesy is an effective yet simple to use and understand.

SUCCESSFUL BUT BAD LAST UPDATE

Very efficient and useful application but the last update is no good. They deleted reminder sync feature in to do list for exchange servers. If this problem is not fixed then , it will be a half useless tool.

Very efficient

It is great. Easy to get organised and handy with Livescribe. It is an essential app. It is no work to prepare meeting minutes and reports with Beesy in seconds. Waiting for Turkish support for Livescibe

Great App

I do like this app, as it is effective tool for note taking, setting tasks and monitoring. It is easy to use, effective and pragmatic tool. Lukasz

Good concept, lots to improve

The app is fairly complete and stimulating to use. You would not expect so many crashes from a paying app, though. Some concepts are interesting, indeed, but nobody likes using creative stuff with so many unknown and surprising bugs. After a whole day of heavy usage, 18 stoppages are frankly too much. Besides, I might be slow, but some buttons and features are far from being intuitive.

One of the best

One of the best app. It is a little complex, but very useful!

Great App

suite, convenient fast and accurate. would be to integrate the function import mail and exports to evernote. still an excellent product. The best of its kind
